Beauty Shop Heights Grand Opening

I’ma tell y’all a secret that should not be a secret.

A year-and-a-half ago, Ashley opened her own brick and mortar shop. Beauty Shop Bellaire stocks cosmetics and toiletries that boast clean ingredients and sustainability, and many are sourced from women-owned businesses.

The first time I stepped in, I realized my days of Sephora, Nordstrom, and Ulta were in the past. It’s a treat to see Ashley, who is much more a friend and educator than a seller. 

And today is the Grand Opening of her second location, Beauty Shop Heights!! It’s among the cute boutiques of M-K-T, right off the bike trail. I plan to visit and try out a new sunscreen and lip color.

Ashley and I had a fun tutorial this week: instead of her teaching me about retinol, this time I taught her about her camera’s dials and controls. Here’s a quick portrait from our time together. Congrats to Beauty Shop Heights on your opening!
