Allegria’s Sneak Peek

Allegria’s Senior Session took place exactly one week after a major storm hit Houston. One of my favorite photo spots happens to be in her neighborhood, and she even scouted for storm debris beforehand. I’d promised her my lens’s shallow depth-of-field can hide storm evidence — that came in handy, but more for construction projects than fallen tree limbs.

Allegria is a pianist who embraces her creativity also in visual art, writing, and floral arrangement. She loves nature, and asked for a relaxed style with an earthy, dreamy energy. I knew we’d be a great match, because this is exactly what I love, too! A charming conversationalist, she made our session wonderfully pleasant as we talked and photographed near Houston’s Buffalo Bayou.
