Some have taken to screenshotting their favorite image of a known friend and texting it directly to her alongside a comment of what they see and love about that particular image. This secret exchange is such a kind edification to the subject, and I’m enormously grateful that you would teach your friend to see and appreciate herself the way that you do.

#7 Your trust 💛

Being “photogenic” is about trusting one’s photographer more than any other element.  

Light, location, posing, prompting… all of these come together when you start to feel safe and can relax in front of the camera. It’s not natural to have a lens aimed our way. When you trust me anyway, things get magical. I don’t take it for granted, and I’m so grateful!
